For donors, foundations, and funders

Nonprofit fraud audits and donor due diligence

Dangerous Dollars

Watch how an unsafe donation became a dangerous dollar.

The problem

Trust is not a control.

Most funders learn about misuse the same way, after the money is gone and the program is over. Annual reports arrive late. Financial statements show categories, not transactions. By the time a pattern is visible, the grant cycle has closed and the funds have moved.

A two-part fraud audit

The difference is timing. Technology screens the recipient before the money is given. Due diligence confirms the work is actually being done after the money is received.

Part one · Before funding

Entity scan (technology)

Before a grant is released, our technology application scans the recipient entity: public records, registrations, and transaction history. Tactical tier: continuous public-record and transaction screening across a recipient's activity. For funders monitoring a portfolio.

Part two · After funding

Due diligence (feet on the ground)

After the money is received, our team confirms the work is actually being done. Strategic tier: screening, full financial review, and on-site verification by our team. For a specific concern about a specific recipient.

What you receive

The Truth.

Every report states what we examined, what we found, what we deliberately flagged, and who is responsible for the fix. Written to be read by a board, not by an accountant. A stopped problem, not a noted one.
