We do 3 things . . .

Services

1. 🚨 Public Safety & Enforcement

  • Proactive Patrols: High-visibility safety teams document hazards, deter crime, and assist overwhelmed law enforcement.
  • Crisis Response: Rapid interventions in dangerous situations (e.g., assaults, fires) to protect vulnerable residents.

2. 🌿 Beautification & Restoration

  • Blight Elimination: Clearing debris, restoring green spaces, and preserving historic sites to combat neglect.
  • Infrastructure Advocacy: Partnering with local businesses to repair sidewalks, lighting, and public areas.

3. ⚖️ Accountability & Transparency

  • Nonprofit Audits: Investigating misuse of funds and resources meant for homelessness and community services.
  • Compliance Reporting: Publishing findings to expose systemic failures and demand equitable resource allocation.

We believe in 3 things . . .

Core Values

1. Community-Led Solutions
Residents and business owners shape our priorities through town halls, surveys, and volunteer leadership roles.

2. No “Pimpin of the Poor”
We dismantle systems that profit from Sweet Auburn’s struggles, from predatory nonprofits to negligent agencies.

3. Measurable Impact
Every initiative is guided by metrics: crime reduction stats, cleanup tonnage, and audit outcomes.

Our 3 types of collaborators are . . .

Strategic Collaborations

🏢  Residents & Businesses: Co-host cleanups, safety workshops, cultural preservation projects, and truth seekers in philanthropy.

👮  Law Enforcement: Strengthen APD’s capacity with real-time incident documentation and off-duty officer support.

🏛  State & City Agencies: Probation offices and entities that enforce compliance with OCGA laws and advocates of beautification and transparency.

Why are we doing this . . .

Our Mission

Sweet Auburn Frontline Enforcement (SAFE) is committed to reclaiming and revitalizing Atlanta’s historic Sweet Auburn district. Through grassroots action and strategic partnerships, we safeguard its legacy by ensuring safety, accountability, and sustainable growth.

We envision a thriving Sweet Auburn where:

  • Safety and heritage coexist, free from blight and systemic neglect.
  • Historic landmarks, including the Martin Luther King Jr. National Park, are preserved and protected.
  • Economic justice empowers local businesses to flourish without the burdens of mismanagement or unsafe conditions.

SAFE is more than a security initiative—we are stewards of this community, working to restore its status as a beacon of Black excellence.
